Employee Spotlight: Brandon Muller
Brandon Muller was born in Toms River, New Jersey in 1987. He grew up there and worked for his family's restaurants from a very young age. He took up sailing and spent his days off at the beach or on his boat. In 2006, Brandon moved to the Philadelphia area, where he attended West Chester University, earning his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. During those years in college, he managed a kitchen at Ocean County College. He then moved on to work for Aramark for two years as a lead chef and kitchen manager at Monmouth University back in New Jersey.
In 2013, Brandon moved to the Gunnison Valley for a change of lifestyle and to advance his skiing ability. He worked for several different restaurants in Crested Butte over the years, and in 2015 started working for Montanya Distillers. He took on the position of General Manager in December of 2016. Brandon is currently in charge of day-to-day operations at Montanya. His duties include managing the kitchen, ordering, scheduling, cooking, bartending, payroll, creating new drink concepts, and much more.
When he's not working, Brandon's hobbies include skiing, downhill mountain biking, fishing, and being the captain of the Eldo town league hockey team. He loves living in the Valley and plans on being here for a long time!
