In the Media: Wonder Woman in Business (Podcast and Article)

It’s sometimes hard to believe the discrimination that our founder and owner Karen Hoskin still encounters in the world of spirits. She was recently preparing to give a presentation at a conference when a man walked in and asked her if she was there to deliver lunch.

It’s one of many reasons we think it’s so important that she shares her story and gets recognized for persevering over the last 11 years of growing Montanya Distillers.

The more we can normalize the idea (and reality) of women in business, the less discrimination there will be—and hopefully the more access women business owners will have to resources. (In 2018, female founders received just 2.9% of venture capital).

The Wonder Women in Business Podcast just released a great episode and article on Karen’s journey and accomplishments. It “serves to raise awareness about the great things incredible women in business are doing to serve others.” So great to meet a kindred spirit and see Karen’s story reach a new audience.
