Employee Spotlight: Cody Sexe

Cody joined the Montanya crew as a House Ambassador and Bartender during what you might call the strangest of times—the pandemic. He immediately felt like part of the family, and proved himself adaptable to whatever 2020 sent our way.

I am originally from Minnesota and was living in Denver when I found CB. I visited once and that was all it took. Packed my bags and been here ever since. I stay here because I love the outdoors and all the mountains have to offer.

When He’s Not Shaking Up Cocktails

You’ll find me out of cell service and in touch with nature. Hunting, fishing, camping, biking. Nature is what most inspires me—finding a balance and a way to be self-sufficient from the land and resources it has to offer.

On a weekend I also like to hang out with friends outside and do whatever comes up. Yard games, fishing, local watering hole, or dinner parties.

I’m very passionate about cooking. I like to create from raw ingredients and proteins that I’ve harvested. Sharing meals with friends and family that I’ve put together brings me great joy.
