UK and European Updates from Montanya

We’ve had many exciting developments in the UK and EU
over the past few months to share with you guys!

UK Updates

Montanya Rum appeared at several very fun events across the UK in the last few months thanks to our amazing partners at Skylark Spirits. One notable event was a collaboration between the US Embassy and UK Government to celebrate the Fourth of July. (We know, Brits celebrating the Fourth?!) Montanya Rum cocktails were a staple American spirit at the event, which were embellished with all kinds of crazy American-themed garnishes. (Hey Britian - just FYI - hot dogs and Twinkies aren’t usually used for garnishes in America!) Kamala Harris also joined in the fun!

In other UK news, Montanya Rum launched in mid-June at Harvey Nichols in Scotland! If you are in Edinburgh, pick up our mountain rum at your local store.

Do you like shopping for sustainable brands? Find us at the Big Sustainability Expo in Southampton in September and The Sustainability Show in London in October. Amazing sustainable and eco-conscious companies will be featured at these events.

Mark your calendar for October 13! Karen Hoskin, our founder and owner, will be speaking at Kindred in London. The topic of discussion will be why rum is the future of the spirits industry. Learn more about Kindred here.

EU Updates

We are excited to announce that our rum is now available across the EU through Spirits Kiosk! In addition to our online presence, we’ve recently launched our rum in 34 Auchen stores in Poland. We will continue to make our mountain rum more available to our European customers!
