In the Media: Review of Montanya Exclusiva on Paste

We’re always glad to see the growing coverage of rum—it’s yet another sign that more people are catching on to what we’ve known all along: rum is a premium liquor. It’s even more fun when that coverage includes Montanya Rums!

Paste writer Jim Vorel recently highlighted Montanya Distillers and reviewed our Exclusiva. Of course he won us over be recognizing the niche we’ve worked so hard to fill in the world of rum:

“Their status as a female-founded and operated distiller already makes the company a rarity in the craft spirits world, but it’s their focus specifically on rum, using American-grown, single origin sugar cane from Louisiana, that really makes the distillery unique,” he wrote.
