Meet Joe Chirchirillo, the General Manager of the Montanya Distillers Tasting Room. Joe does everything from working behind the scenes ensuring operations run smoothly to making delicious potent potables behind the bar.

How Joe Found Crested Butte

Joe found Crested Butte in 2017 when he was working for an artist (Trés Taylor) on their art tour. According to Joe, “Basically I shuttled a van full of artwork around the country to different festivals, galleries, and home instillations. I came to Colorado for the Crested Butte Art Fest and fell in love with the colorful town and striking landscape. Next thing you know I was eating pizza in conundrum hot springs and have been here ever since.” 

Enjoying Time Outdoors

In his free time you’ll find Joe climbing. When he can’t go climbing you’ll find him mountain biking, rollerskating, or ranting about Frank Herbert’s Dune.  

Fun Fact

Joe used to perform fire-spinning in a circus and at one point I was VERY close to breaking the world record of the highest fireball blown by a firebreather.
