MONTANYA DISTILLERS IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP!

Montanya Distillers is very pleased to announce that our company has been formally acquired by CRN Ventures as of today, December 1, 2023. The new ownership team is composed of two longtime Distillery employees, Renee Newton and Megan Campbell.  These two members of our team combine eleven years as head distillers and managers at Montanya.  They are joined by Sean W. Richards, a brand strategy strategic partner from Houston, TX who is also a devoted rum entrepreneur.

Karen Hoskin, founder and 15 year owner of Montanya Distillers will assist with transition and phase out early in 2024. According to Hoskin, "This is the kind of acquisition that I would wish for every distillery founder.  Two of my incredible employees will take the helm with their chosen strategic partner, just when I am ready to step away.  They share my ethos of business on so many levels and they know the business intimately.  I am excited to see what they do next."  

The next few weeks will have some inevitable work arounds as we transition but the Tasting Room will remain open and you can count on normal business through the busy holiday season and far beyond.  Stay tuned for more updates to come.
