Our first flavored rum is the perfect balance of sweet and spice, crafted with an unwavering commitment to sustainability. This unique rum showcases the seamless fusion of fresh pineapple sweetness with the fiery kick of habaneros. Starting with a base of our acclaimed Platino rum, the pineapples, and peppers are prepped before steeping in-house and proofed with mountain spring water. A careful process that ensures bright tropical flavors, maximum integrity, and shelf stability in a crisp, clean, and balanced spirit crafted without coloring or artificial ingredients.

Continuing our commitment to sustainability, this Pineapple Habanero Rum release debuts Montanya's new eco-friendly packaging, featuring 100% recycled glass through our new partnership with bottle manufacturer ByQuest. Every detail aligns with our mission, from plastic-free packaging design to labels printed on FSC-certified paper.

Fiery Passion Cocktail w/ Montaya Pineapple Habanero Rum.
There is no cocktail flavor more unique and hard to find than passion fruit. We use an organic puree imported from France. Sadly, there is no substitute. Many bartenders may oder some type of passionfruit product for you from their bar suppliers. Don’t be tempted to use a store-bought passionfruit juice!
Glass: Tall Collins
In a shaker with ice:
2.5 oz Montanya Pineapple Habanero Rum
1 fresh lime, juiced
2 oz juice made from passionfruit purée
.5 oz light agave syrup
6-10 fresh mint leaves, lightly muddled
Shake and strain over ice. Top with club soda or seltzer. Garnish with a half-spiced sugar rim (Turbinado sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg), a fresh pineapple wedge, and a fresh mint sprig.
Seniorita w/ Montanya Pineapple Habanero Rum
Glass: Champagne Coupe
In Shaker:
Juice of 1 freshly squeezed lime
.5 oz light agave
6-8 muddled cilantro leaves
3 oz Montanya Pineapple Habanero Rum
Shake and strain into glass. Garnish with cilantro leaf
