Temporary Closure of Tasting Room

Though it has warmed our hearts to continue to see our community gathering at Montanya, we have made the decision to temporarily close our Tasting Room and Distillery to the public. It is part of our ongoing efforts to respond to the spread of Coronavirus in our local community—in order to protect our staff, our customers and our community, we feel we have no choice.

For the time being, we will continue distilling and bottling. Tasting Room staff affected by the closure will receive two weeks of pay, at which time we plan to reassess. We are keenly aware that every decision we make affects our hard-working and dedicated staff. We are doing what we can to further support them by providing them with restaurant supplies we won’t need during the closure, like perishable and non-perishable foods and basic supplies.

If you haven’t had the chance to stock up on Montanya rums, Mountain Spirits, Acme Liquors and Treasury Liquors all sell our rums locally. Please call ahead or check their websites to ensure that they are still open.

We have heard from many of you who appreciate our efforts to keep you informed, and we can only say thank you for your continued support. We very much look forward to the day that we reopen our doors and raise a toast with all of you! Questions or concerns? Contact us here.
