A New Montanya Barrel Program

If you’ve been following Montanya for a while now, then you know the last year has seen our team grow. We knew having a talented director of sales would be a game changer, but sometimes we still have to pinch ourselves when we realize how much you can accomplish as a team. Our new Barrel Program is one great example.

We’re offering liquor stores, bars, restaurants and individuals the opportunity to hand select their own private stock of premium Montanya rum. We see it as such an exciting opportunity to collaborate with customers who share our commitment to reaching rum drinkers in new and creative ways.

Participants in the barrel program will receive a customized experience from start to finish:

• Samples from select Montanya barrels to find the rum of their choosing

• In-person or virtual training providing in-depth rum education for staff, with Covid protocols in place for in-person programming

• The barrel that aged their rum plus personalized branding for their bottle and a customized display sheet that tells the story of the rum

• The opportunity for a private distillery tour and the chance to help bottle the rum

​Each barrel is priced in line with the regular Montanya portfolio, with full and half barrels available. The Platino and Oro barrels have 70 cases of rum (400+ bottles), Exclusiva about 46 cases (280 bottles) and Valentia about 33 cases totaling 200 bottles of rum. Once a barrel is selected, delivery is expected to take 6 to 8 weeks. Learn more about our barrel program here.
